Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 counselling will be conducted by Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell. An official information brochure will be released comprising the schedule and other regarding seats and the process of seat allotment. Candidates will have to fill application form on the official website, mahacet.org by providing personal details, contact number, academic records, NEET PG 2024 details. A merit list will be released by Maha CET Cell comprising candidates names who will be participating in the counselling. The counselling for seat allotment will be conducted in two rounds. A mop-up round will be conducted to fill the seats left vacant after the conclusion of the second round. Admission to the state quota seats of Maharashtra will be on the basis of NEET PG 2024 scores.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be an Indian national to apply for Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 counselling
- Non-resident Indians (NRI) are eligible only for the 15% NRI quota seats in unaided private/minority medical colleges
- Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are not eligible for Maharashtra PG medical counselling 2024
- Candidate must have passed the final examination of MBBS degree course from an institute in Maharashtra
- He/she must have completed the compulsory rotatory internship by March 31, 2024
- Candidates who have passed MBBS from a foreign university are not eligible
- A candidate who is domiciled in the state of Maharashtra and has completed his/her MBBS from outside Maharashtra (allocated a seat under 15%AIQ), will also be eligible for the counselling of Maharashtra NEET PG 2024.

- A valid photo ID proof (Aadhar card/Driving license/PAN card/Passport)
- Nationality Certificate/Passport/School Leaving Certificate (class X or XII)
- MBBS degree
- Internship Completion Certificate, stating that the candidate has completed his/her internship on or before March 31, 2024
- Permanent/provisional Registration Certificate, issued by MCI/SMC.
- Certificate from the Head of Institute from which the candidate has completed his/her MBBS degree, stating that the institute is recognised by MCI.
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Receipt for the application fee of Maharashtra PG medical counselling 2024
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Medical Disability Certificate (if applicable)
- No Objection Certificate (for in-service candidates)
- Orphan Certificate (if applicable)

How to apply
The counselling round for Maharashtra PG medical admission 2024 will be conducted only in online mode. The NEET PG counselling Maharashtra will be of three rounds which will be conducted by DMER, Maharashtra.
- Applicants have to register themselves to participate in Maharashtra PG medical 2024 counselling.

- In order to get registered, applicants have to fill in the requisite details such as their name, roll no., marks obtained in NEET PG 2024
- After the completion of the registration process students are required to fill their choices as per their preferences of colleges.
- Students can make as many choices as they want for Maharashtra MD/MS PG diploma admissions.
- On the basis of NEET PG merit list of Maharashtra, choices filled and the availability of seats the process of allotment will be done.
- Applicants who will be granted admission are required to report at the allotted colleges within the specified dates with the required documents which are mentioned below.
- Aspirants are advised to download admission letters for Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 counselling before reporting to the allotted colleges.
- Applicants who will be not shortlisted for the first round can take part in further rounds of Maharashtra PG medical counselling.
