Chhattisgarh NEET UG Counselling 2024: Dates (Soon), Registration, Choice Filling, &More!

The Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2024 counselling for the academic session 2024-25 will be overseen by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur. The counselling schedule will be available on the official website, cgdme.admissions.nic.in, which is the sole authority for releasing the Chhattisgarh state merit list for MBBS and BDS admissions.

To participate in the Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 counselling, candidates must register on the DME Raipur website and qualify for NEET 2024. The counselling process will be conducted online in two rounds. Candidates who meet the Chhattisgarh NEET cutoff marks will be eligible for further counselling steps.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the NEET 2024 results on June 4, 2024, with 13,16,268 candidates qualifying out of 23,33,297 test-takers. A re-exam was held on June 23, 2024, with results declared on July 1, 2024. The Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 counselling schedule will be released soon.

If there are vacant seats after the second round, a third (mop-up) round of counselling will be held offline.

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants aiming to participate in the CG NEET UG counselling 2024 should thoroughly understand the eligibility requirements. The key criteria are as follows:

1. Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
2. Domicile: Candidates with Chhattisgarh domicile status are eligible to participate.
3. NEET Qualification: Applicants must have qualified for the NEET UG 2024 entrance test.
4. Educational Qualifications:
   • Subjects: Candidates must have passed Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
   • Marks:
     • General category: Minimum 50% marks.
     • SC/ST category: Minimum 40% marks.
     • Physically Handicapped category: Minimum 45% marks.
5. Schooling: Candidates must have completed Class 11 and 12 from a state-recognized University or Board.
6. Age:
   • Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024.
   • Candidates born on or after January 2, 2004, are not eligible for counselling.

Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 Counselling Registration

To participate in the Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 counselling, candidates must register on the official DME website by following these steps:

1. Visit the Website: Go to cgdme.admissions.nic.in.
2. Register: Use a valid email ID and mobile number to register.
3. Fill the Application Form: Carefully complete all required details.
4. Set Password and Security Question: Choose a password and select a security question.
5. Review and Submit: Check the application form thoroughly before submitting.
6. Pay Registration Fee: Follow the directions provided by DME Raipur to pay the registration fee.
7. Receive Login Credentials: The login ID and password will be sent to the registered email ID.

Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 Counselling Choice Filling

Once registered, candidates must submit their course and college choices for Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 counselling:

1. Log In: Access the registered account on the official website.
2. Submit Choices: Enter your preferred courses and colleges.

Note: The option to fill choices is given only once. Candidates are advised to fill in as many choices as possible, as choices cannot be changed once submitted.

Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 Counselling Seat Allotment List

Seat allotment will be based on the candidate's NEET 2024 merit and submitted choices. Seats left vacant after the first round will be carried forward to the second round.

A third (mop-up) round will be conducted offline to fill any remaining vacant seats after the second round.
