Gujarat NEET 2024 counselling will be conducted online for seat allotment, with dates announced after the NEET 2024 results. The NEET 2024 exam, initially held on May 5, 2024, was reconducted on June 23 due to a question paper leak controversy. Candidates eligible for NEET 2024 must register online for Gujarat NEET 2024 seat allotment on medadmgujarat.org.

To register, candidates must purchase a mandatory PIN from the official website by paying INR 11,000. This PIN includes a non-refundable fee of INR 1,000 and the remaining amount is refundable. Only NEET 2024 qualified candidates are eligible to participate in Gujarat NEET UG counselling 2024

Gujarat NEET counselling oversees admissions not only for MBBS and BDS courses but also for several other programs administered by ACPUGMEC. These include:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for Gujarat NEET 2024 Counselling:

1. Nationality:

   • Candidates must be Indian citizens. Non-resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Foreign Nationals may be eligible under specific criteria.

2. Age Limit:

   • Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024.
   • There is no upper age limit for Gujarat NEET counselling 2024.

3. Educational Qualification:

   • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
   • They should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English as core subjects in Class 12.
   • General category candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Biotechnology in Class 12. For SC/ ST/ OBC candidates, the minimum aggregate required is 40%.

4. NEET 2024 Qualification:

   • Candidates must have appeared for NEET 2024 and obtained the minimum qualifying percentile as per their category:
     • General Category: 50th percentile
     • SC/ ST/ OBC: 40th percentile
     • PwD (General): 45th percentile

5. Domicile Requirement:

   • Candidates must fulfill the domicile criteria as specified by ACPUGMEC for Gujarat NEET counselling.
   • Non-domicile candidates may be eligible under NRI quota or other specified categories.

6. Documentary Requirements:

   • Candidates need to provide proof of educational qualifications, NEET 2024 scorecard, domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), Non-creamy Layer (NCL) certificate (if applicable), and any other relevant documents as specified by the counselling authority.

7. Additional Criteria:

   • Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ ST/ OBC) must provide valid caste certificates issued by competent authorities.

How to apply

To participate in Gujarat NEET 2024 counselling for MBBS seats, candidates must first register on the official website of ACPUGMEC at medadmgujarat.org. Prior to registration, candidates need to purchase a PIN by paying INR 200 online. After registration, candidates must visit the nearest help center for document verification.
