Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling 2024: Dates (Soon), Registration, Choice Filling, &More!

Rajasthan NEET UG 2024 counselling, managed by RUHS for the academic year 2024-25, is set to commence tentatively in early August 2024, following the national-level NEET counselling. This process will allocate 85% state quota seats for MBBS and BDS courses across Rajasthan. The counselling rounds, except for the final stage involving institute reporting and document verification, will be conducted entirely online.

NEET 2024 was held on May 5, 2024, and the initial result was released on June 4, 2024. Following controversies, a re-NEET was conducted on June 23, 2024, with results declared on July 1, 2024. Approximately 1,563 candidates participated in this retest across six centres in five states. RUHS Jaipur will use the revised scorecards, excluding grace marks, to formulate the merit list.

Only candidates meeting the NEET 2024 cutoff criteria will qualify for Rajasthan NEET UG 2024 counselling, ensuring eligibility based on their final scorecards

Eligibility Criteria

1. NEET UG 2024 Qualification: Candidates must have appeared for NEET UG 2024 and obtained a qualifying score as per the cutoff marks specified.

2. Domicile: Candidates should be residents of Rajasthan or satisfy the domicile criteria as specified by the state government.

3. Age Limit: Candidates should be at least 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024, and there is no upper age limit for appearing in NEET UG.

4. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.

5. Minimum Marks: Candidates must have secured at least the minimum qualifying marks in Class 12 or equivalent examination as specified by the respective regulatory authorities.

6. Category-specific Criteria: Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) must provide valid certificates as per the prescribed format.

7. Health Criteria: Candidates should meet the medical fitness standards as per the norms specified by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or respective regulatory authorities.

Rajastahn NEET 2024 counselling, candidates need to prepare the following documents for verification and submission during the counselling process:

1. NEET UG 2024 Admit Card: Original and photocopy.
2. NEET UG 2024 Scorecard: Original and photocopy.
3. Class 10 Mark Sheet: Original and photocopy.
4. Class 12 Mark Sheet: Original and photocopy.
5. Domicile Certificate: Proof of residency in Tripura (if applicable).
6. Category Certificate: For SC/ST/OBC candidates (if applicable).
7. Identity Proof: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or any other valid ID proof.
8. Passport-size Photographs: Recent and colored (as specified).

How to apply

1. Registration: Visit the official website of RUHS Jaipur or the designated counselling authority's website for Rajasthan NEET UG counselling.

2. Application Form: Fill out the online application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details. Ensure all information provided matches the documents.

3. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of required documents, such as NEET UG 2024 admit card, NEET UG 2024 scorecard, Class 10 mark sheet, Class 12 mark sheet, domicile certificate (if applicable), category certificate (if applicable), and any other specified documents.

4. Payment of Fees: Pay the counselling registration fee online through the available payment modes on the website. The fee amount and payment methods will be specified on the counselling portal.

5. Choice Filling: After successful registration and fee payment, candidates need to fill their choices of colleges and courses based on their preferences. They can modify and lock their choices within the specified deadline.

6. Document Verification: Once the choice filling process is complete and locked, candidates will be allotted seats based on their NEET UG 2024 rank, choices filled, and availability of seats. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

7. Reporting to Allotted Institute: Candidates who are allotted seats must report to the respective allotted institute within the specified time frame. They need to carry all original documents for verification and admission.

8. Completion of Admission: Complete any additional formalities as required by the allotted institute and secure admission by paying the admission fee and submitting necessary documents.
