Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2024 will be administered by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS). The entire counselling process for Punjab MBBS/BDS admissions 2024 will be conducted online. Candidates must register and submit their application forms on the official website bfuhs.ac.in to participate in Punjab NEET Counselling 2024.
Upon successful registration and document verification, BFUHS will publish a merit list. Only candidates included in the Punjab NEET merit list will be eligible for counselling. It is mandatory for candidates to have qualified NEET 2024 to participate in Punjab NEET 2024 counselling. BFUHS administers the counselling for the allocation of 85% state quota seats.
Punjab NEET UG counselling comprises two rounds. The second round will be conducted if there are vacant seats after the first round. Candidates who have qualified NEET 2024 and hold Punjab domicile are eligible to apply for state quota seats in Punjab. Applications for Punjab NEET 2024 counselling will be accepted only in online mode; offline or email submissions will not be considered.
During counselling, candidates must choose their preferred colleges and courses and lock their choices. Seat allotment for Punjab MBBS/BDS admission 2024 will be based on the candidate's choices, NEET 2024 scores, and seat availability. A total of 1750 MBBS and 1260 BDS seats will be allocated through the counselling process.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aspiring to participate in Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2024 must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Nationality:
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.

- Candidates must have domicile of Punjab.
- Proof of residency or domicile certificate may be required.

Age Limit:
- Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024.
- There is no upper age limit for participation in NEET UG counselling.

Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- They should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects in Class 12.
- General category candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum aggregate required is 40%. For PwD candidates, it is 45%.

- Candidates must have appeared for NEET UG 2024 and obtained the minimum qualifying percentile as per their category:
- General Category: 50th percentile
- SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile
