ANDHRA PRADESH STATE MANAGEMENT QUOTA COUNSELING

Dr. NTR UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES, VIJAYAWADA Conducts the Counselling for admission into Management Quota seats in Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma Courses in all the Private  Non-Minority and Minority Medical Colleges affiliated to Dr. NTR UHS.

Management Quota Seats:

50% of Seats in each speciality in each college are Management Quota Seats.

The Seats are categorised into

1. Management Quota Category – B (S1) – 25%,

2. Category – C (NRI- S2) – 15%

3. Category –C (Institutional Preference – S3) – 10%.

 Candidates from all the States and Union territories of India (All over India) are eligible for Management Quota Category – B (S1) – 25% seats

Category–C–NRI(S2): shall be filled with foreign students/NRI / NRI Sponsored candidates on the basis of inter se Merit among the applicants qualified in NEET PG-2022.

Category – C– Institutional Quota(S3): shall be filled with the candidates sponsored by the Managements of the Private Un-Aided Non-Minority and Minority Medical Colleges having Post Graduate Course in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

The requirements for the Institutional Quota are:

1. The candidates who have completed MBBS in that particular Institution.

2. Son or Daughter of the employee working in that particular Institution.

3. Employee of that particular Institution.

4. The Employee should have a minimum of 6 months experience in that particular Institution and presently working in the same Institution (Proof to be produced)

Eligibility:

· Candidates should have passed MBBS from a recognized Medical College / University.

 · The candidates must be qualified in NEET PG-2022 examination with the minimum qualifying cut-off score.

· Candidates should have completed the internship by 31-07-2022.

· Non-Domicile/Candidates from other states are eligible.

· If the candidate is having a medical qualification equivalent to MBBS (Primary Medical qualification) from outside India, the Degree should have been recognized by Medical Council of India for enrolment as Practitioner in the Country.

· Candidate must have Permanent Registration with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council.

· Candidates must pay an equivalency verification fee as specified in the regulations along with the registration fee. The fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date. Therefore, candidates are advised to check eligibility conditions thoroughly before applying for determining merit.

· Lower percentage/percentile of marks for SC/ST/BC/OBC/PwD is only for eligibility purposes and will not be applicable for reservations

Reservations:

There are No Reservations for SC / ST/ BC /OBC in all the Categories of the Management Quota Seats.

Application process:

1 Entire Application process is through online mode only, including uploading of Images, scanned copies of Certificates/documents and payment of fees etc. Therefore, candidates are not required to send printout of the application form/verification form, etc. to the University. No offline applications will be accepted.

2 All further notifications will be displayed on university website only. No Individual intimations will be sent. Please visit the University website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in regularly for subsequent notifications/instructions till the closure of admissions.

3 Printout of application, Provisional Verification form along with Original Certificates should be produced for verification at the time of joining in the allotted college failing which the allotted seat is deemed to be canceled.

4 Schedule for counselling i.e., exercising of Web options etc., will be notified separately in the University Website only as per the Regulations of University / Orders of Government of AP from time to time. No individual communication will be sent. Candidates are informed to check the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in regularly for notifications.

Procedure of filling online application and Procedure for online payment:

1. Read the Notification, Prospectus carefully.

2. Keep the following ready:

(a) Latest passport size photo

(b) Admit card and Score Card – NEET PG 2022.

(c) Original Degree/Provisional copy of MBBS

(d) Aadhar Card

(e) Study Certificate(s) of MBBS

(f) Latest Social Status certificate in case of BC/SC/ST candidates issued by Competent Authority, if applicable.

(g) Muslim Minority Certificate issued by Competent Authority, if applicable.

(h) Internship completion certificate (i) Valid Medical Council Registration Certificate.

(j) Permanent Medical Registration Certificate is mandatory if the candidate has obtained a Degree Certificate from outside the country.

(k) Candidates claiming NRI Quota Should submit the following documents:

1. NRI Sponsorship Letter (Sub-Category 2 as per Annexure II).

2. Proof of documents to be submitted: Declaration (given at Annexure-II in the Prospectus) on White Paper signed by both the candidate and NRI along with evidential documents such as Green Card/Citizenship Card/Bank Statements/Pass-port issued by the respective Country/Electricity Bill/Gas Bill /Water Bill.(Visa / Driving license will not be accepted) (l) Sponsorship Certificate from College for Institutional Quota (S3) (Annexure-III).

3. The fee can be paid through Debit card /Credit card or Net Banking.

4. The fee paid by the applicants is non refundable and will not be adjusted to a future date under any circumstances.

FEE PARTICULARS FOR ON-LINE REGISTRATION:

The Registration & Processing fee including 18% GST 1. The candidates who acquired their MBBS Degree from Dr.NTR UHS, Vijayawada/KNR UHS, Warangal/SVIMS, Tirupati/GIMSR, Vizag shall pay ₹.7,080/- ( i.e., ₹.3,500/- + ₹2,500 + GST 18%)

The Registration fee, Processing fee & Equivalency fee including 18% GST:

1. The candidates who acquired their MBBS Degree outside the AP/TS State shall pay ₹.10,620/- ( i.e., ₹.3,500/- + 2,500 + 3,000 + GST 18%)

2. The candidates who acquired their MBBS Degree in Abroad/Foreign Country shall pay ₹.15,340/- ( i.e., ₹.3,500/- + 2,500 + 7,000 + GST 18%)

 

Merit Lists:

The Merit Position of the candidates those who have applied through online in response to the notification issued by Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences for Management Quota Seats shall be determined by NEET PG - 2022 scores and as per their eligibility criteria, applicable regulations, guidelines. Ø The University will release final merit position of eligible candidates for exercising web options after verification of uploaded scanned certificates.

Fee Structure:

University Fee: All the selected candidates shall pay the Non – Refundable University Fee of ₹.49,600/-.

1) Tuition Fee for Management Quota seats (Category – B- S1):

a) Pre-Clinical Degree - Rs.1,22,400/-per annum

b) Para-Clinical Degree/Diploma - Rs.2,70,000/-per annum

c) Clinical Degree - Rs.8,64,000/-per annum

2) Tuition Fee for (Category - C): NRI (S2)/Institutional Quota (S3)

a) Pre-Clinical Degree - Rs.8,00,000/-per annum

b) Para-Clinical Degree/Diploma - Rs.15,00,000/-per annum

c) Clinical Degree - Rs.50,00,000/-per annum

 

Rules & Regulations:

ADMISSION RULES: The last date of joining of selected candidates will be communicated to them in the letter of selection.

· All the candidates joining the Post Graduate degree, and diploma courses should execute a bond on a stamped paper of Rs. 100/- value as prescribed in Annexure-III to the effect that he / she will complete the prescribed period of training or in default to pay Rs.3,00,000/- + 18% GST to the University and shall refund the amount received as stipend upto that date to the Government as notified by the University from time to time.

· As per G.O.Ms.No.67, HM&FW (C1) Department dated 21-04-2017 candidates have to pay the discontinuation penalty of Rs. 3,00,000/- + 18% GST and they will be debarred for three years for admission into Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma courses at the colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh for admission into PG Medical courses subject to receipt of orders from the Government if any and as notified by the University from time to time.

 

ATTENDANCE: Candidates selected for the various courses should be the wholetime students. The candidate is required to put in a minimum of 80% attendance during each calendar year for being eligible to appear for the University examination. In a year all 365 days will be considered as working days and students should get 80% attendance each year separately to get eligibility for appearing University exams. The remaining days of absence (including maternity leave) will be considered for extension of study period.

 

LEAVE: Students will be permitted to avail 30 days leave per year. No Post Graduate is allowed to go on leave more than 8 days at a stretch. Incase the absence of the candidate availing Medical Leave / Maternity Leave / Any other Leave or unauthorized absence is beyond 30 days in a year, the study period of the candidate will be extended to the extent of such period. No other leave is permitted.

 

MATERNITY LEAVE: Women students can avail maternity leave upto 120 days only once in their PG course of study and the study period will be extended to the extent of Maternity leave availed. The candidate shall not be eligible to appear in the University examinations till the completion of study period as per NMC Regulations (Duration of course).

BREAK OF STUDY AND RE-ADMISSION: If a student is absent continuously for a period of 91 days or more and seeks permission to attend the course, his / her application in prescribed format vide annexure V & VI by paying requisite fee in favour of Registrar, Dr NTR University of Health Sciences payable at Vijayawada shall be forwarded to the Registrar, Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences with the recommendation of the Principal. The candidates are advised to refer the regulations before submitting the application and paying the fee. If they fulfill the conditions, they may submit applications through the Principal of the College by paying the fee.

PRIVATE PRACTICE: No Post Graduate is allowed to do any private practice or consultation and should not accept any part time employment in any State or Central or Quasi Government or Private organizations during the period of Post Graduation study. The Principal has to take appropriate action after giving opportunity for explanation, if any student violates this rule.

COLLEGE REGULATIONS: Candidates are required to follow the rules and regulations of the college and should also abide by the regulations of the University. Under any circumstances they should not have any correspondence with the higher authorities directly without routing through proper channel.

CLOSURE OF ADMISSIONS:

· The admissions shall be closed on the date as notified by the University.

· Any vacancy as on the date of closure of admissions shall not be filled. They will not be carried forward to the next year as per the directions of Supreme Court of India.

DURATION OF COURSE: The duration of P.G. Diploma courses is 2 years and P.G. Degree courses is 3 years from the date of commencement of the course. In case of students having a recognized two year Post Graduate Diploma course in a subject selected for PG Degree in the same subject, then the period of training including the period of examination, shall be two years. If the break of study is more than three months the candidate has to apply (vide Annexure-VI) to the University through the Principal/Dean of the college. The University can give permission to the candidate to complete the course as per Rules based on evidences produced by the candidate for the break of study.

DISSERTATION: The Post Graduates who are admitted must register the topic of their dissertation with the University within six months of commencement of the course and approval of the University should be obtained. The dissertation should be submitted within 2 ½ years of commencement of the Course. In the case of the candidates who are granted exemption of one year of study period of degree course, the dissertation should be submitted within 1 ½ years of commencement of the course. If the above schedule is not followed the period of Post Graduation will be extended by six months.

· A postgraduate student in broad specialties shall present one poster presentation, to read one paper at a national/State conference and to present one research paper which should be published/ accepted for publication/sent for publication during the period of his/her postgraduate studies so as to make him/her eligible to appear at the postgraduate degree University examination.

· A Candidate registered for MD/MS Degree Examinations shall clear the examinations within 8 (eight) years from the date of joining for the course and the candidates registered for P.G. Diploma courses should clear the examination within 7 (seven) years from the date of joining of the course. If he/ she does not pass the examination within the period specified above, he/she shall not be permitted to appear for examinations thereafter.

Note: If a candidate is found to have submitted false information such candidate is liable to be disqualified for admission and in case already admitted, the admission will be cancelled. Further disciplinary action against him/her will be initiated by the University as per rules.
